AI drone-style real estate video from listing photos
A drone-style real estate video from photos is a 5-second AI clip in which the camera rises from the ground-level view of one exterior listing photo and tilts down until the roof and the front yard are seen from above, without flying a drone. In MotionCasa it is an effect you apply to a clip you have already rendered: open the clip, choose Drone reveal under Redo this clip, and the new version uses 150 credits, the same as any clip. Clips come from a one-time $19 pack per listing (1,200 credits, up to 8 clips), with no subscription, and AI rendering starts with a Google sign-in.

How the drone reveal works
Start a listing in Studio with 5 to 8 photos. MotionCasa renders one 5-second clip per photo. On a delivered clip of an exterior photo, open Redo this clip and choose Drone reveal. The new version starts at the exact framing of your photo and rises straight up like a crane, tilting down to keep the house centred, until the roof and the front yard are seen from above.
The camera does not fly backwards or sideways. In our first tests, an instruction to rise and pull back made the model travel past things it then had to invent, including a roof that did not exist and a changed building, so the published effect uses the straight rise only. The new version arrives as a candidate next to the original; nothing replaces your clip until you choose Use this clip, and a failed render returns its credits.
Branded + MLS unbranded export. $19 per listing, no subscription, Google sign-in required.
What the AI invents, and what to check
A photo taken from the ground does not show the roof from above, the back of the lot or the houses next door. As the camera rises, the model generates all of that. In our sample the house itself stays true to the photo, but the neighbouring houses are generated and a small doormat appeared. Check the roof, the lot lines, the street and the neighbours before you publish.
This is a drone-style clip, not drone footage. Do not present it as an aerial recording, and follow your MLS and portal rules on AI-generated or edited media. For land, acreage, waterfront or any listing where buyers need the real surroundings, hire a licensed drone pilot.
Which photos work best
Use a front exterior photo taken from ground level, with the whole house in frame and some yard in front of it. Tight crops, interiors and photos already taken from above give the effect little to reveal. Detached houses read best; for attached homes, expect the generated neighbours to need a careful check.
Photo-only drone effect or a map-based tool
Some tools build the aerial view from a map screenshot as well as a photo. VideoTour.ai, for example, asks for a Google Earth screenshot and one photo of the front of the house, which gives the model real surroundings to work from. MotionCasa uses only your listing photo: it is quicker and needs nothing else, but everything outside the photo is generated, which is why the check above matters.
Questions
Is this real drone footage?
No. It is a drone-style clip generated by AI from one ground-level photo. The house comes from your photo; the roof from above, the yard and the neighbours are generated. Do not present it as an aerial recording.
How much does a drone reveal clip cost?
A drone reveal version uses 150 credits, the same as any clip. The one-time $19 pack has 1,200 credits, so one listing can have, for example, 7 standard clips and 1 drone reveal. Larger packs are $49 for 3 listings and $99 for 7. There is no subscription.
Can I export it with and without my branding?
Yes. Branded + MLS unbranded export: every reel can be downloaded with your logo, headshot and contact details, or as an MLS-clean version without agent branding.
When should I hire a drone pilot instead?
For land, acreage, waterfront, views, or any listing where buyers need to see the real surroundings. A drone-style clip from one photo cannot show what is really next to or behind the house.
Which photo should I use?
A front exterior photo from ground level with the whole house in frame and some yard in front. Interiors, tight crops and photos already taken from above give the effect little to reveal.
Do I need an account?
Yes for the AI render: sign in with Google before your first render. You can check photo order and pacing in a local browser preview first; it uploads nothing and uses no credits.
